Directions for the day:
We drive north to Norseman on the Coolgardie-Esperance Highway, which is this section of National Route No.1. Dundas Rocks is 178km up the road and is apparently an excellent picnic spot. It has picnic tables, trees for shelter, fireplace (no water). From Dundas Rocks we continue north to Norseman (25km). Continue on the Coolgardie-Esperance Highway and take the Goldfields Highway through to Kambalda and onto Boulder and Kalgoorlie.
